The crowd rose to their feet as FISHBONE 06's Elvir Bešimović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jo Øverås. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, Daustad's Luis Bonet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Ubarna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Daustad booed when FISHBONE 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branimir Bajrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Bonet in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Ubarna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daustad were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after FISHBONE 06's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mats Bentsen took the corner. Daustad's He Jing was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gavino Ubarna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gavino Ubarna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jo Øverås made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvir Bešimović in the 23rd minute. Daustad's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elvir Bešimović 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Elvir Bešimović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jo Øverås made a huge save. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Laguna in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Laguna got free with Jo Øverås in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 37th minute of play. If Peng Song Ting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daustad's Kevin Bernini was substituted for Alberigo Mancini. Branislav Cokić kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Daustad's Mats Bentsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Ubarna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Daustad reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvir Bešimović.
