Søren Kvols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Mircescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes Ali Nurettin rounded Darkwing Ducks's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Darkwing Ducks's Pierre Lyngdal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cristian Gallo, made in the 10th minute of the game. Ali Nurettin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Søren Kvols read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes Darkwing Ducks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristian Gallo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Gallo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Søren Kvols quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nurettin in the 14th minute of play. Søren Kvols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Nurettin in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a corner. Darkwing Ducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Gallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ivan Ghiondea to fire away a dangerous shot which Søren Kvols despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols got control of the ball when Ali Nurettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, one of Darkwing Ducks:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Darkwing Ducks. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Søren Kvols. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hassan Wiemert in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jalmari Mikkonen saved Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isac Zub. A well-hit corner resulted in Isac Zub heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kresten Cosmus in the 41st minute of play forced Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jalmari Mikkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Søren Kvols came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Petruț Mircescu. But to his dismay, Petruț Mircescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Su Xu to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Mugurel Gârniceanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Darkwing Ducks's Kristoffer Salqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Mugurel Gârniceanu in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Darkwing Ducks's Kristoffer Salqvist. The supporters of Darkwing Ducks booed when Pinner Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Gârniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Adan Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Salqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jalmari Mikkonen. Kristoffer Salqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jalmari Mikkonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Su Xu. Jalmari Mikkonen was a little too slow when Su Xu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 3-2. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Adam Vasilache was substituted for Petruț Mircescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Vasilache in the 77th minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darkwing Ducks's Kristoffer Salqvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jalmari Mikkonen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Vasilache in the 81st minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Søren Kvols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Vasilache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Nurettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Franco Vázquez replaced Cristian Gallo. When Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darkwing Ducks's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Pinner Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ali Nurettin hit a great ball.

There was no doubt that Pinner Cluj-Napoca were the better team. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
