Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Vides in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. BMB IMOVEIS SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Fernando Tavares in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, André Luiz Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dedé Alagoano hit a great ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by BMB IMOVEIS SC's André Luiz Vides. But to his dismay, André Luiz Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute BMB IMOVEIS SC were awarded a corner. Luís Fernando Tavares went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to BMB IMOVEIS SC's Mathias Vidal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vides in the 31st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Costa Rica's Sérgio de Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Tasis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Vides in the 34th minute of the match. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Luís Fernando Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Luiz Vides made a kick off. After 60 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Luiz Vides in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donato Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as BMB IMOVEIS SC's Dedé Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-5 after 73 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Donato Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Donato Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Noboa might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Noboa ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes in the game Luís Fernando Tavares got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BMB IMOVEIS SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
