Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. TECRÜBE SK's Ahmet Danış Çiftçi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save TECRÜBE SK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Ahmet Danış Çiftçi in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play forced TECRÜBE SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Danış Çiftçi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes TECRÜBE SK got a freekick which was hit by Bogumil Witek. A collision led to TECRÜBE SK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. The supporters of TECRÜBE SK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Danış Çiftçi having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Danış Çiftçi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Leonardo Leoz got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 67th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Danış Çiftçi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Danış Çiftçi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 69th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Facundo Cadaval fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Danış Çiftçi quite easily take care of the ball. Ahmet Danış Çiftçi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. TECRÜBE SK's Muhammet Tümel was substituted for Zekai Sertel. TECRÜBE SK were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 许树川 took the corner.
