After having played for 3 minutes, Nico Schellander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC!Empire!Costy squad ™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Schellander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Troy Kennedy got a free kick in the 4th minute. Barnabé Sellier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, FC!Empire!Costy squad ™'s Arnold McDecland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Nico Schellander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 23 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Schellander. 25 minutes into the game, Nico Schellander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Nico Schellander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. 28 minutes into the match, Curacao's Kyle Davies sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Jitaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Schellander in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Barrett was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Barnabé Sellier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnabé Sellier really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Amável Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Schellander. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Schellander to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Nico Schellander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. After 60 minutes of play, FC!Empire!Costy squad ™'s Barnabé Sellier made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Amável Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Romeo Jurăscu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Jurăscu couldn't finish the play. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Schellander in the 66th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Nico Schellander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Alan Rutgeerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Jurăscu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Schellander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Romeo Jurăscu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Jurăscu couldn't finish the play. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amável Falcão in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Curacao's Stanley Wallace sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Jitaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Schellander, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Schellander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Barrett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Schellander's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Schellander in the 97th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC!Empire!Costy squad ™ had played much better football throughout.
