Leó Détári's shot from long distance in the 14th minute was not bad at all, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of I ll be back booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by I ll be back's Ödön Végvári. But to his dismay, Ödön Végvári quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kornél Cziráki hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ádám Szatmári having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Gorka in the 31st minute of play. I ll be back's Kornél Cziráki got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After 37 minutes I ll be back's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that I ll be back's Ádám Szatmári managed to reach the ball for a save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Gorka in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Primitivo Gorka made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Kornél Cziráki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Primitivo Gorka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Gorka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Primitivo Gorka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Gorka in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Leó Détári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leó Détári hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ádám Szatmári breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Ádám Szatmári skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ádám Szatmári when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ádám Szatmári, passed just outside the right post. I ll be back's János Szarka was substituted for Ödön Végvári. 87 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Gorka came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Gorka in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ádám Szatmári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. I ll be back were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
