Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ksawery Basinski started the match with the kick off. Ksawery Basinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KKS Lech Poznań's Souad Brahimi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. A collision led to KKS Lech Poznań getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tytus Kochanowski hit a great ball. Jedrzej Rudy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Souad Brahimi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Marchefka, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Souad Brahimi having to make a save. 30 minutes into the match, Rafal Juszkowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. Lautaro Puig shot from long distance after 33 played minutes, a shot that Souad Brahimi with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Feliks Fafinski came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of KKS Lech Poznań booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Souad Brahimi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after KKS Lech Poznań's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Souad Brahimi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Souad Brahimi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 57th minute of the match. Aureliusz Marchefka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Feliks Fafinski made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pawel Czarnecki during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, KKS Lech Poznań was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Czarnecki to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. KKS Lech Poznań's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliusz Marchefka in the 76th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Marchefka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacek Gdowik kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Feliks Fafinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KKS Lech Poznań's Jedrzej Rudy got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Rudy in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the KKS Lech Poznań players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
