Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Bergsten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Richarlison de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Jonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edvin Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 16th minute of play forced Henley Utd's goalkeeper Edvin Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento, in the 16th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 19 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richarlison de Andrade. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edvin Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 26th minute of play forced Henley Utd's goalkeeper Edvin Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richarlison de Andrade in the 27th minute of the match. Joakim Bergsten struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henley Utd. 36 minutes in the game Joakim Bergsten did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jens-Erik Nykvist. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 40 minutes Henley Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Bergsten. After the first half Colombia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Bergsten made a kick off. The supporters of Henley Utd booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Joakim Bergsten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abram Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Edvin Jonsson made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Edvin Jonsson threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abram Sarmiento, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joakim Bergsten took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Abram Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvin Jonsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Joakim Bergsten sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. After having played for 74 minutes, Joakim Bergsten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joakim Bergsten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joakim Bergsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joakim Bergsten ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Joakim Bergsten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Joakim Bergsten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Richard Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Bergsten came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Joakim Bergsten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Henley Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Joakim Bergsten put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Henley Utd's Hannes Kjellqvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joshua Garrido in the 94 minute of the game.
