Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Concetto Donato went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Donato in the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Concetto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Concetto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Støle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Cirelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Cirelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Kroton F.C.'s Concetto Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
