Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Binjamin Ketelers kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binjamin Ketelers in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. 16 minutes into the game, Marciano Asmussen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Marciano Asmussen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Marciano Asmussen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Binjamin Ketelers in the 25th minute of the match. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 30th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tabalongo AFC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhang Hong Xun came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Marciano Asmussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Binjamin Ketelers in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Marciano Asmussen made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Virgilio Marko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Marko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Constancio Jaque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabalongo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constancio Jaque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When Virgilio Marko came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tabalongo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Marko couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Filip Frankowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Tabalongo AFC's Dario Bessa got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes, Filip Frankowski made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Max Vinkens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Max Vinkens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Frankowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Tabalongo AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Virgilio Marko hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 91st minute Max Vinkens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Constancio Jaque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabalongo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constancio Jaque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Tabalongo AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
