An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Moises Fernandino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Benigno Gabrio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Centeno's Genaro Balesio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorge Magrina in the 26 minute of the game. Centeno's attentive Hipolito Azeari managed to snatch the ball when Mateo Leguizamo made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Abram Luque slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benigno Gabrio. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. Centeno's Benigno Gabrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Centeno from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, Centeno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Quinten to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
