After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Necdet Has quite easily take care of the ball. Agah Özver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Aybek Sadreddin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Necdet Has breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Agah Özver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Gheorghe Popescu got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ahmet Necdet Has made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ahmet Necdet Has didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Agah Özver made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Agah Özver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wictor Tinglöv who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Has having to interfere. When Agah Özver came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agah Özver couldn't finish the play. 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Baransel Kavi was substituted for Cristobal Eguzki. 72 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Necdet Has read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Has having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's Gheorghe Popescu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ahmet Necdet Has took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by 《☆GERMEÇSPOR☆》's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Agah Özver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
