Ortle Aragon's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ortle Aragon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to JUVENTUD GIRARDOT getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ortle Aragon hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mel Ascazua made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Mel Ascazua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
