Anfilogino Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Evaristo Cordareo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rolando Noboa. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bertil Lindsten, made in the 10th minute of the game. Xande Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xande Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Sebastián Erasto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anfilogino Tolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anfilogino Tolin having to interfere. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anfilogino Tolin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luz Tejedor in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anfilogino Tolin saved Aerolineas Argentinas FC from getting behind. After 33 played minutes Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Lindsten. Anfilogino Tolin came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Cordareo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Gong Yu Le charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gong Yu Le the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Aerolineas Argentinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gong Yu Le to maneuver through the defense. Aerolineas Argentinas FC made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Cordareo in the 73rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Gong Yu Le hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Loi in the 79th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Patricio Frutos made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Gallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anfilogino Tolin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Aerolineas Argentinas FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Anfilogino Tolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Aerolineas Argentinas FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Albino Rodriguez hit a great ball. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
