Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Florian Plouffe kicked off to start the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remo Pürro in the 3rd minute of play. Remo Pürro's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Pürro helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Plouffe in the 17th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Florian Plouffe. But to his dismay, Florian Plouffe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 30 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Raik Topuz. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Schroeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tristan Arioli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Florian Plouffe scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florian Plouffe in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Ben Zehnder charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ben Zehnder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Tristan Arioli managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Plouffe in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Plouffe, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 79th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Zehnder to maneuver through the defense. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Raik Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tristan Arioli made a huge save. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After 92 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Olympique Fribourg players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olympique Fribourg:s goal. The referee gave Olympique Fribourg a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Schroeder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Steiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
