In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 24th minute of play. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Taltum FC were awarded a corner. Marcelo Cavenaghi went to the cornerflag to take it. Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Andres Tufiño got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Flavio Cifuentes made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 45th minute, He Sang Jun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco was substituted for Marcelo Cavenaghi. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Obregón Pardemanos scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 76th minute of the match. Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The corner led Taltum FC's 傅延斐 to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obregón Pardemanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taltum FC's attentive He Sang Jun managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 93rd minute of play. Taltum FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
