In the 21st minute, Lenílson Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Bresson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Guang Zhan in the 26th minute of play. Gerson Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibon Duarte in the 34th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Robert Bresson made a huge save. Igor Batuecas's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Batuecas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Igor Batuecas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Robert Bresson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Robert Bresson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Bresson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match Peru got a corner. INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Bresson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Ibon Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ibon Duarte went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manoj Espinosa in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Bresson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Igor Batuecas got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Manoj Espinosa. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 82nd minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Bresson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. INTOCABLES 2oo4's Robert Bresson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 90th minute of play forced INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Robert Bresson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
