A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Delminho FF's Villiam Målare. Delminho FF's Patrik Brovall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Delminho FF from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Delminho FF's goalkeeper Patrik Brovall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Patrik Brovall made a huge save. With a little luck, Delminho FF's Patrik Brovall got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Savier in the 25th minute of play. Patrik Brovall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Gerardo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Ekrot in the 33rd minute of play. Patrik Brovall came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Patrik Brovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Carl Ekrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Villiam Målare kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delminho FF's Patrik Brovall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Brovall was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Delminho FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrik Brovall quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Brovall was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Patrik Brovall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Delminho FF's Patrik Brovall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Delminho FF's Kasper Åkerström was substituted for Beniamin Charamut. Delminho FF made a substitution. Bengt-Rune Martinsson replaced Carl Ekrot. The long shot by Gerardo Savier in the 78th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, Delminho FF's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Savier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bengt-Rune Martinsson's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Delminho FF's Bengt-Rune Martinsson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Patrik Brovall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
