Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludomir Zawacki went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gogo Leguizamón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Gogo Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo David Mardel's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Leguizamón came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game 曾诚枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Leguizamón breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gogo Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾诚枫 in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Deportivo David Mardel's Gogo Leguizamón got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mateo Marko fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo David Mardel's protests and gave Mateo Marko a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Deportivo David Mardel got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Marko. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita spiked a well placed long shot which went just inside the left pole, with no chance at all for Gogo Leguizamón. Resulting in a 1-2 score after 62 minutes. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Ferman's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Ferman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo David Mardel's Jonas Ferman got a free kick in the 68th minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo David Mardel the free kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Deportivo David Mardel's Jesus Peli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Leguizamón having to interfere. With a little luck, Deportivo David Mardel's Gogo Leguizamón got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Deportivo David Mardel getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mateo Marko hit a great ball. Julio Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
