Mateusz Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nieciece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Wallengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miromir Kazanowski was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Nieciece's Witold Bycofski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Miromir Kazanowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Mateusz Hajto made a huge save. A collision led to Nieciece getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sotiris Bagasakos hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Nieciece's goalkeeper Mateusz Hajto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Hajto having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Mateusz Hajto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nieciece's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateusz Hajto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Nieciece were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
