Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Irwin Keegan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cullan Dimson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bairthmead Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Pat Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Pat Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cullan Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Dhún na nGall™'s Bairthmead Hunt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Eliseo Noboa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pat Walker having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Pat Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Dhún na nGall™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Axel Tasis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dhún na nGall™'s Pat Walker did a great save. Cullan Dimson scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Cullan Dimson made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pat Walker. That made the score 3-1 after 59 minutes of play. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. 64 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s Bairthmead Hunt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cullan Dimson in the 65th minute of play. John Myler charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Myler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bairthmead Hunt took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cullan Dimson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th match minute, Dhún na nGall™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Gillmour to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Aaron Alcocer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Pat Walker made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Dhún na nGall™'s goalkeeper Pat Walker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. In the 89th minute, Cullan Dimson made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Irwin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cullan Dimson in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Pat Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pat Walker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Dhún na nGall™ were the better team. Dhún na nGall™'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
