Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Danny Gilespie made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Danny Gilespie notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Gilespie in the 9th minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Danny Gilespie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Danny Gilespie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Gilespie. 23 minutes into the game, Danny Gilespie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Moises Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Alsop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Fairbairn having to interfere. In the 39th minute Danny Gilespie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Gilespie, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Danny Gilespie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Gilespie got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Fernandino to make the kick off. El Salvador's attentive Marco Tamayo managed to snatch the ball when Ronan McLaws made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rangers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Abram Luque scored to the left of an out of position Fergus Fairbairn, making the score, 3-2. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Gilespie in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Abram Luque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 81st minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute of the match Tim Charles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Connor Alsop in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. Danny Gilespie scored 4-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rangers FC had played much better football throughout.
