Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. Fergus Fairbairn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jaime Pardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute, Jaime Pardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fergus Fairbairn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Danny Gilespie's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Gilespie helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Gilespie. 11 minutes into the game, Connor Alsop threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darius Bontine during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Bontine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Fairbairn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Pardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Connor Alsop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Danny Gilespie made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Danny Gilespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Gilespie, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danny Gilespie to make the kick off. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Primitivo Escribano hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Gilespie got free with Jacobo Nores in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Primitivo Escribano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Danny Gilespie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Danny Gilespies short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fergus Fairbairn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 78th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie McGilvray to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paraguay's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
