Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roneixon Siqueira started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Roneixon Siqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espigão Steamrollers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 7th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonçalo de Medeiros was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Roneixon Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oswaldo Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Gonçalo de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonçalo de Medeiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Colombia booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kara Bhattacharya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Colombia's Santino Seco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonçalo de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Espigão Steamrollers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

Espigão Steamrollers's Gil Vieira was substituted for Ulisses Carioca. Gil Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Roneixon Siqueira took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Gil Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roneixon Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roneixon Siqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Roneixon Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roneixon Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Roneixon Siqueira sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Roneixon Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 91st minute, Yuri Paranaense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espigão Steamrollers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. Espigão Steamrollers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
