When Bror Holm fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRUSADERS's protests and gave Bror Holm a yellow card for diving instead. Bror Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Gustavsson in the 15th minute of play. CRUSADERS's Olov Stenström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save CRUSADERS from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Ismael Tejedor got a free kick in the 24th minute. Emil Berggren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Vallgren came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Vallgren in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Vallgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Olov Stenström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 36th minute of play. Bror Holm hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Eddie Vallgren made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Olov Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Fernandino in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Alfonso de la Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Gustavsson in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes CRUSADERS got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Bergfeldt. In the 66th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Villa to maneuver through the defense. Mario Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Stenström having to make a save. When Marko Bohlin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRUSADERS's protests and gave Marko Bohlin a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes of play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Stenström was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the CRUSADERS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bolivia.
