In the 16thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Muuga United's Virgo Lööper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Janar Taelma came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgo Lööper came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgo Lööper made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. FC Muuga United's Virgo Lööper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes FC Muuga United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Agur Vabamäe, made in the 36th minute of the game. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgo Lööper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 51 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgo Lööper. FC Muuga United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 55th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgo Lööper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, FC Muuga United's goalkeeper Virgo Lööper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Virgo Lööper made a huge save. Virgo Lööper was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. FC Muuga United's Virgo Lööper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, FC Muuga United's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Virgo Lööper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teet Vahing went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
