Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Salmuera CP's Hồ Kyhn. But to his dismay, Hồ Kyhn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Maria having to interfere. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Ali Gopala Pillai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kiko De la Cuadra, made in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Maria saved Salmuera CP from getting behind. Salmuera CP's Ruperto Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Duca to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Cazalla in the 56th minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Salmuera CP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pascual Carballar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Duca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko De la Cuadra hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 61st minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Gopala Pillai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joshua Garrido came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Garrido couldn't finish the play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 70th match minute, Salmuera CP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko De la Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 71 in the game by Abram Secada from a close distance when the talented Ruperto Maria managed to make a qualified save. Salmuera CP's players were relieved. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Duca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Colombia booed when Salmuera CP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Salmuera CP's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Ruperto Maria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Mastache took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Maria. Ruperto Maria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The throw-in from Pablo Martinez in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Abram Secada. Fan Xing Zhou scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
