In the 10th match minute, CRUSADERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olov Stenström. Moises Fernandino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Gustavsson in the 21st minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of CRUSADERS's Olov Stenström. Olov Stenström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Vallgren in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. Emil Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Vallgren in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Vallgren to make the kick off. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Eddie Vallgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Eddie Vallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. CRUSADERS's Henrik Bergfeldt suffered a fractured collar bone after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 84 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Stenström. CRUSADERS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. During the 88th minute of the match Moises Fernandino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eddie Vallgren hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mateo Leguizamo came free in the 94th minute and tried to tip the ball over Olov Stenström, but to the joy of CRUSADERS's supporters the ball went over.
