The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carel Van Hermenghem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of play forced Stewe's goalkeeper Carel Van Hermenghem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stewe getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Artur Loyola hit a great ball. Carel Van Hermenghem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Martial Vrijdag's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Stewe defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carel Van Hermenghem. The Stewe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carel Van Hermenghem should have stopped the shot. Carel Van Hermenghem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carel Van Hermenghem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carel Van Hermenghem came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carel Van Hermenghem. Stewe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Endre Austnes was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martial Vrijdag, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Stewe got a freekick which was hit by Endre Austnes. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Carel Van Hermenghem skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carel Van Hermenghem came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carel Van Hermenghem having to make a save. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stewe! The crowd rose to their feet as Chile's Mariano Lacasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carel Van Hermenghem. That made the score 0-6 after 77 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the match, Stewe's goalkeeper Carel Van Hermenghem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 83rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carel Van Hermenghem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Endre Austnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Endre Austnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the game, Artur Loyola threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Francisco Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stewe.
