Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dean Floyd started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Floyd came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Dean Floyd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Santa Tecla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute, FC St. Pauli Andorra's Dean Floyd ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Shelby in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Michael Corleone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santa Tecla. FC St. Pauli Andorra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santa Tecla having to interfere. When FC St. Pauli Andorra's Dean Floyd in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Santa Tecla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 52 minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Santa Tecla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santa Tecla having to make a save. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santa Tecla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santa Tecla. Santa Tecla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Santa Tecla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 86th minute of the match. Santa Tecla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC St. Pauli Andorra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnnie Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than FC St. Pauli Andorra and deserved their victory. The FC St. Pauli Andorra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
