Leal Valido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 7th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Valido. Leal Valido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leal Valido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 15 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leal Valido was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute Gabriel Neiva suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Miguel Miralles's late challenge caught a LA COSA NOSTRA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Miralles helped the player get up and apologised. LA COSA NOSTRA made a substitution. Adérito Castro replaced Gabriel Neiva. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play forced LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Leal Valido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leal Valido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, LA COSA NOSTRA's 乔义竞 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 乔义竞, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 乔义竞, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Gabi March was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. In the 66th minute, Gabi March hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA COSA NOSTRA's Leal Valido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leal Valido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔义竞 in the 79th minute of play. Afonso Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Leal Valido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Leal Valido in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔义竞 in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Bebeto Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA COSA NOSTRA and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bebeto Aguiar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Alex Cambeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afonso Portugal during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Afonso Portugal got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play.
