The referee ignored Pardubice Hurricanes's protests and gave Radoslav Plašil a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Pardubice Hurricanes got a freekick which was hit by Radoslav Plašil. 48 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rubáš came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Přemek Ouředník read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Jose Manzanedo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník.
