JK Kurevere's Dawid Beninda got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when JK Kurevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manel Fonelleda didn't get a good kick on the ball. JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 5th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, JK Kurevere's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Virgilio Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Mateus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Dawid Beninda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manel Fonelleda in the 26th minute of play. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Felix Montenegro. A collision led to JK Kurevere getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Haarald Peelmann hit a great ball. Virgilio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Müürsepp in the 32nd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Beninda in the 35th minute of play. JK Kurevere's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Riivo Arro in the 36th minute. JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Dawid Beninda lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Julio Vera. Virgilio Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save JK Kurevere from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Virgilio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Beninda in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Mateus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Mairo Koppelmann replaced Robert Müürsepp. After 66 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Märten Viilukas. Virgilio Mateus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Mancebo in the 68th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after JK Kurevere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JK Kurevere's Virgilio Mateus did a great save. JK Kurevere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Mateus, making the score, 3-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Mateus having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in JK Kurevere's zone, Diego Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Mateus came out of the goal and Diego Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Virgilio Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Einar Reisalu in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. JK Kurevere were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
