Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Gaston Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Sancho in the 5th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Mede was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Donzel got a throw-in 16 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fabricio Leoncio. When Cipriano Donzel fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfwalkers F.C.'s protests and gave Cipriano Donzel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Cipriano Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Rosalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Cipriano Donzel made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabricio Leoncio immediately put the ball in play. 43 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Mede. Wolfwalkers F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Gaston Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Ofelio in the 67th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Leoncio came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfwalkers F.C. the free kick. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Mede narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Cipriano Donzel got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Cipriano Donzel off the ground. The supporters of Honduras booed when Wolfwalkers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Gaston Mede in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wolfwalkers F.C. defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Mede. The Wolfwalkers F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Mede should have stopped the shot. Honduras played a much better game than Wolfwalkers F.C. and deserved their victory. The Wolfwalkers F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
