Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Severino Bueno took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatko Zahovič came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Bueno in the 7th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Bueno struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Young Elephants. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Severino Bueno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Zahovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Darren Carabott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Severino Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Eleven Young Elephants's Severino Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilmos Szikora made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Darren Carabott.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Eleven Young Elephants's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Aaron Tanti to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, Eleven Young Elephants's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aaron Tanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aaron Tanti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 70th minute Zlatko Zahovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Vilmos Szikora. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Bueno's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Tanti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bueno came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Bueno scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Eleven Young Elephants booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Eleven Young Elephants players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
