Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Moises Fernandino got the match started through his kick off. In the 9th match minute, Stanway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Kiefer to maneuver through the defense. Fred Bruckmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 10th minute of the match. Fred Bruckmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. George Bodenheimer kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Bruckmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stanway were furious when Lucien Gernsback was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd minute, Lucien Gernsback hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Stanway's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Fred Bruckmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Stanway's Fred Bruckmann. Fred Bruckmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Stanway getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. George Bodenheimer hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Stanway's zone, Mateo Leguizamo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Bruckmann came out of the goal and Mateo Leguizamo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim made the kick off in the second half. Bodo Jentzsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralph von Hompesch zu Bolheim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a little luck, Stanway's Fred Bruckmann got control of the ball when Abram Luque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pierre-Joseph Guttenbrunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Rubio during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Fernandino charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Fernandino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
