After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Gabriel Neiva got a free kick in the 12th minute. Adriano Almeida made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leal Valido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If 乔义竞 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔义竞 in the 25th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luca Espinar fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Luca Espinar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA COSA NOSTRA's Leal Valido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of play. LA COSA NOSTRA's Bebeto Aguiar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian Sancho in the 37 minute of the game. 乔义竞 struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA COSA NOSTRA. In the 40th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Leal Valido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Leal Valido. LA COSA NOSTRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 乔义竞 in the 63rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 乔义竞 in the 71st minute of play. Gabriel Neiva made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. Adriano Almeida made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Serkan Günden hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Adriano Almeida in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
