In the 9th minute, Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Santiago Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Renan saved Florestal Futebol Clube from getting behind. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Marcinho Mineiro scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Florestal Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Reinaldo Porto hit a great ball. Kevin Mastache struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bruno Renan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 35 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Renan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Anísio Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Florestal Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Veiga couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Orlando Tafalla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colombia and the Florestal Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcinho Mineiro made a kick off. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Veiga in the 54th minute of play. Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Renan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 64th minute of play forced Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Bruno Renan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Renan. That made the score 2-1 in the 67 minute of play. Florestal Futebol Clube made a substitution. Zé Paulo de Toledo replaced Evaristo Eleazar. Florestal Futebol Clube's José Paulo de Lara was substituted for Santiago Cidro. Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abram Secada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bruno Renan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes into the match Abram Secada climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Bruno Renan. Bruno Renan made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Kevin Mastache sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the game, Amado Baião threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 96 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's Marcinho Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
