Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fredrik Terwenhout took the kick off in the first half of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 6th minute of play. Amador Azailla kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sean Van Dijck. Limburg United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Van Dijck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fredrik Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Fredrik Terwenhout took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Fredrik Terwenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fredrik Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fredrik Terwenhout tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sean Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. Fredrik Terwenhouts short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sean Van Dijck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Van Dijck was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fredrik Terwenhout went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Fredrik Terwenhout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Fredrik Terwenhout who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sean Van Dijck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joris De Raeve charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joris De Raeve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Joris De Raeve. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sean Van Dijck quite easily take care of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sean Van Dijck saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 88 minutes, Anios Karaoulanis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anios Karaoulanis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Limburg United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
