Bruno Renan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Renan. Bruno Renan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Milagros Fraga made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Florestal Futebol Clube's Arthur de Moraes. Peru were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Florestal Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marcinho Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bruno Renan having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Florestal Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Bruno Renan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Florestal Futebol Clube made a substitution. Zé Paulo de Toledo replaced Evaristo Eleazar. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Renan having to make a save. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florestal Futebol Clube's José Paulo de Lara was substituted for Santiago Cidro. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florestal Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Bruno Renan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Renan having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Mineiro came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Florestal Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Tenorio came free, but Bruno Renan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Florestal Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Florestal Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
