Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Göransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador played a much better game than Elmtaryd Agunnaryd and deserved their victory. The Elmtaryd Agunnaryd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
