Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C A U the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wayan Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Barcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Feliberto Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlus Waugh, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Romon Oliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

C A U's Eliseo Hurko was substituted for Candido Firmo. During the 57th minute of the match Wayan Freeman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Finlay Stair made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C A U's Eliseo Hurko. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. In the 74thth minute of the game Lucas Barcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Nahia might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Nahia ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Nahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save.
