Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Huybreghts having to make a save. BAŞBUĞ's Götz Ferdi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alonso Berganza in the 39 minute of the game. Alonso Berganza made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BAŞBUĞ's Özdemir Otaç.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sait Nursal was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jens Huybreghts in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Huybreghts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Can Orak in the 81st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jens Huybreghts.
