Reinard Hennes ran back to his position shaking his head. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinard Hennes in the 8th minute of play. After 15 played minutes, Twelve Ravens's Lennart De Coster shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Twelve Ravens reached it. After 22 minutes of play, Twelve Ravens's Reinard Hennes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 35th minute, Panama's Felipe Ros seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felipe Ros the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felipe Ros had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Twelve Ravens from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Lindberg in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Twelve Ravens getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Dimitri Huijbregs hit a great ball. With a little luck, Twelve Ravens's Roland Vanden Broucke got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Reinard Hennes made the kick off in the second half. Lennart De Coster struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Twelve Ravens. Pierre Van Hinnendael kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jose Carita hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Twelve Ravens were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart De Coster took the corner. In the 68th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. When Bjorn Van de Weijer came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Twelve Ravens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjorn Van de Weijer couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. Pierre Van Hinnendael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bjorn Van de Weijer in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Twelve Ravens eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
