Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristen Spoelberghe got free with Dante Lacasa in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristen Spoelberghes short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Mexico booed when KFC Welden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristen Spoelberghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Gillis Degens. KFC Welden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Wouter Gijselinckx dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Frederik Van Beringhen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Welden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Van Beringhen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristen Spoelberghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Gillis Degens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes into the match, KFC Welden's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Gillis Degens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Brent De Vadder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Welden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play forced KFC Welden's goalkeeper Gillis Degens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Frederik Van Beringhen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gillis Degens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wouter Gijselinckx to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Tafalla could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Gillis Degens however easily saved by the left post. In the 57th minute Wouter Gijselinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, KFC Welden's Brent De Vadder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Van Eyken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KFC Welden getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Wouter Gijselinckx hit a great ball. KFC Welden made a substitution. Henri-Xavier Van den Dries replaced Wouter Gijselinckx. KFC Welden's Gillis Degens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save KFC Welden from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. KFC Welden were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
