The supporters of Panama booed when Hilario FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Donnarumma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelino Formerio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hilario FC's Benedicto Indar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Formerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Hilario FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Edmund Kempka made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 64th minute, Severo Laurentzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hilario FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Edmund Kempka's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Kempka helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Hilario FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Tallia. Gianluigi Donnarumma was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abraham Alguacil. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of play forced Hilario FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Panama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
