Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Schreiner made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Patrick Schreiner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Patrick Schreiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 minutes, Patrick Schreiner made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Niko Schmitz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Patrick Schreiner sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 27 minutes into the match, Jörn Domeier notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Abel Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the FC Büdlich-Breit players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. FC Büdlich-Breit's Jorge Reynen got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Schmitz in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, FC Büdlich-Breit's Patrick Schreiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Schreiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Niko Schmitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Büdlich-Breit's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Schmitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Büdlich-Breit were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when FC Büdlich-Breit's Patrick Schreiner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the game, Patrick Schreiner lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. Martin Bordorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Niko Schmitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niko Schmitz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Schreiner in the 66th minute of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Büdlich-Breit's Patrick Schreiner. But to his dismay, Patrick Schreiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Jörn Domeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niko Schmitz. 73 minutes into the match, Patrick Schreiner notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Schreiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Patrick Schreiner lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. 85 minutes into the game, Niko Schmitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bastian Hoeber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Patrick Schreiner could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Patrick Schreiner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of FC Büdlich-Breit booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
