In the 4th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Rosalio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Angel Ofelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Cleto Ferran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Ofelio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Donzel made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabricio Leoncio immediately put the ball in play. In the 29th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolfwalkers F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. In the 42nd minute Angel Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Ofelio in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Rosalio was the one to do the kick off. Angel Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Esteban Carvallo's late challenge caught a Wolfwalkers F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Wolfwalkers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. When Cecilio Soin came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Wolfwalkers F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Soin couldn't finish the play. Gaston Mede made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. In the 91stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Gaston Mede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcial Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
