Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Abram Sarmiento made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th minute, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apostol Sokolov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Paulo Fallabes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Monitor Huáscar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Fallabes couldn't finish the play. Claudio Quiroga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-2. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Artemio Varas, made in the 31st minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Monitor Huáscar's Aulis Salomaa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aulis Salomaa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monitor Huáscar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aulis Salomaa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Monitor Huáscar's İdris Demir was substituted for Artemio Varas. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monitor Huáscar! Apostol Sokolov had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Axel Montenegro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Monitor Huáscar defense, Axel Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apostol Sokolov. The Monitor Huáscar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apostol Sokolov should have stopped the shot. Claudio Quiroga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Claudio Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Quiroga to make the kick off. Abram Sarmiento in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Apostol Sokolov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Quiroga went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. If Nazario Victorica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. 77 minutes into the game, Gines Hubieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. A collision led to Monitor Huáscar getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gines Hubieta hit a great ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Quiroga in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Claudio Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Paulo Fallabes made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. After 90 minutes of play, Monitor Huáscar's Claudio Quiroga made it 9-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nazario Victorica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Claudio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monitor Huáscar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
