Daniel Zorita took the corner. 19 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Daniel Zorita. Güntekin Adılhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. When Robert Budrewicz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Budrewicz couldn't finish the play. Güntekin Adılhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Luís Cubilla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. Luís Cubilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Luís Cubilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Baykal Gulabi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Cubilla in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Budrewicz scored 4-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Roman Wojton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Cubilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Güntekin Adılhan in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Budrewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
